There are different lightings on your car and every light has its color and function. Some may not know why it is designed like that. So here today, we want to talk about them.

Low beam (known as dipped, passing or meeting beam) and high beam (known as main, driving, or full beam) can provide adequate light while driving. However, high beam needs to be turned on when driving into somewhere without ant light. The lighting colors are mainly amber or white.

Parking lights are designed using low power but can be a great help while parking. In the US, Canada, Mexico, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand and much of the Middle East, front fog lights can give out the white or amber light. But in Germany, the front parking light is white and the rear parking light is red.

Turning signals are also called as blinkers, indicators or flashers. They are mounted in the corner of the front and rear part. The turning signals can indicate others that your car needs to turn or stop. In the US, the turn signals are mostly in red and amber for European vehicles.

The taillight is also a signal for others. It is also in red but still has amber turning signals and white backup light combined together for some cars.

Some prefer to make their lighting in special colors. However, you need to check whether the light color is against the law.
